Problem:
In this project, we were given the task to create a photorealistic image in Illustrator. This made for a very time-consuming project that has to be very planned out to meet the deadline.
Solution:
I chose to do a bowl of fruit. I started with a buying fresh fruit, found a bowl that wouldn't be distracting, and photographed it with one light source. In order to meet the deadline, I worked on in in small chunks and left notes for myself at the end of the day that outlined what where I left off.
Results:
As a result, the bowl turned out very nice, I added a background that looks like it's from the Art Deco era, gave it a heavy amount of vignette so that it would not take away from the bowl of fruit, and added a signature.
